The Process

Microneedling with RF works by causing deep stimulation into the skin inducing production of more collagen.Through the action of the micro-needles, tiny columns are created which facilitates healing and brings collagen stimulation. Microneedle depths can vary from 0.5mm to 3.5mm deep. In turn, the skin naturally responds by making new collagen-rich tissue. As mentioned above, recovery and downtime in a RF Microneedling procedure is minimal. Most patients are able to resume their daily lives immediately after treatment is complete. However, it is natural to experience some redness and irritation in the treated area for a few hours to the next day. We recommend generous use of sunscreen lotion as the skin is recuperating and is more susceptible to sunburn immediately after the procedure.

Think of RF Microneedling as taking skin needling to a whole new depth and a whole new level of results that a manual hand needle roller just can not get to. RF Microneedling targets adipose tissue, fat cells and stimulates collagen in the dermis whilst protecting the epidermis from damage.

To get maximum benefit, the general suggestion is 3 sessions. Anything less than 3 will not provide the required medium- and long-term collagen stimulation accumulative effects. Acne scarring clients should consider at least 5 sessions.

Treatments can be done as close as 4 weeks. Each session would be booked a month apart of 3 months.

Our clients rate the majority of the procedure a 4/10. The settings of the machine can be adjusted so explore your level of comfort and what you can handle. We will work in with how you feel during the process and adjust appropriately. All patients report no discomfort when the procedure is complete, however they do feel a warm sensation and also a skin tightening feeling which lasts a day or so.

Botox, known as wrinkle relaxer, is a toxin that relaxes the muscle and wears of over time. Although the result is more immediate, it is short lived, only holding for around 6 to 8 weeks.
